Heritage Metalwork

$0.00

Most of the work by Two Ravens Forge is contemporary in design but much of that has its roots firmly in heritage blacksmithing skills. The following are examples of period work, reproduction and restoration we have also carried out . In order of scrolling down

  1. New entrance door for a property in Hyde Park Gate, London in 18th Century styling.

  2. An example of a bracket designed to support the cast iron column and roundel which had been part of a much larger structure. The clients wanted to keep the columns to punctuate the entrance and the bracket was designed to support them and be in character with them.

  3. Entrance gate for listed passageway in Fleet Street for the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers.

  4. Rail for St Leonards Church, Woodcote. This recreates the original design of the rail up to the pulpit and sits adjacent to it.

  5. St Vedast Church, City of London. Restoration of lanterns and framework.

  6. Mirror sconce. Seven of these were reproduced in sheet wrought iron and were exact copies of the late 17th Century sample. The final gold finish was carried out by the client.
